Touch and Count cubes are an important tool in early learning. They provide children with a “hands-on” way to learn how to structure their thoughts and learn to think and reason in a logical manner.
It can be joined together, pulled apart, threaded, sorted, and grouped according to color and quantity.
Teachers or parents can make up a series of numbers and colors, and get the child to copy their string of cubes. They can be used to make rods for learning about length, height, one-to-one correspondence, adding, subtracting, multiplying, and dividing.
